Westlife Big Up Upper Street
On the day of their single release Upper Street get an encouraging message from a fellow manband...
Upper Street may be feeling a tad nervous this week with the release of their make-or-break single 'The One' but they've been backed by one of the biggest manbands in the business.
Westlife, who've sold millions of records during their eight years at the top, reckon the time is right for the Totally Boybanders.
"It's brilliant that you have all these bands coming back," said Nicky. "If I'd been out of the business for ten years I'd really miss it and I'd be dying to get back into it."
Mark added, "We know Bradley and Dane - they're really great guys." And Kian chipped in, "I'm really happy for Bradley. Ever since S Club ended he's been really keen to keep the music going. Out of everyone in his old band he was the one who seemed to really want it."
Let's hope the boys' positive vibes work for Bradley, Dane and co - the single is in the shops this week but a source close to the band told us they could get the elbow from their manager if it doesn't do well.
"Their manager Jonathan Shalit said he may not continue to represent the boys 'as a group' if the single doesnt go top ten," he said.
Ooh, even we're beginning to feel nervous now!
'The One' is in shops now or you can buy it here
