So one of the (many?) great things about working at MTV is getting to meet that famous person you always wanted to, analysing them face to face and coming to a fairly realistic conclusion as to whether they're as great as you once thought. So when Ricks, me and Dan Storey got the chance to meet Quentin Tarantino at a banger racing event to promote his new film 'Death Proof' we were per-retty excited.

We got to 'Wimble-ton' as Tarintino called it, got a quick interview with the man himself and went straight up to watch the racing.

The idea was various celebs form teams represented by banger cars race three times to win an awesome looking trophy. Our car was the 'MTV banger boys' and lets just say our driver was as rubbish as our name, no offence Ricks - I know you chose it. We did one lap, from pole position and crashed. We then had to watch from the stands with Tarintino and a host of others as our car embarrassingly crawled round the track before eventually coming to a complete halt. Fightstar's car won, just to top it off.

Anyway the free food and drink more than made up for our drivers poor performance and watching Tarintino do a drunken celebratory dance with his mate was one of the most surreal moments of my life.
