About Me

I'm Shantha, one of the new MTV News presenters. I've done quite a bit of acting, presenting and modeling; I was on the cover of one of Belle & Sebastian's albums ('Dear Catastrophe Waitress' for any B&S fans out there!) I used to work in a coffee shop in Glasgow. I still help out in there now and again. My hobbies include partying, going out with friends, drawing pictures, and playing with animals. I'm not very good with sites like MTV Flux, myspace etc, but I'm about to turn over a new leaf! I'm surrounded by myspace addicts. I'm more migraine than myspace! I'm on ebay all the time though. I buy lots of clothes and shoes on there. If I had to choose one celeb that I fancy, it'd have to be Liv Tyler. But no, I'm not a lesbian. She's just so attractive!

• Bedazzled is my favourite film (the original, not the one with Liz Hurley!). I really enjoyed Pan's Labyrinth and Little Miss Sunshine. Oh I'm also really into French art-house cinema (fnar!) .
• I'm Watching
• My favourite TV shows are mostly comedies. I love Curb Your Enthusiasm, Mighty Boosh, Garth Marenghi's Dark Place, and The Office. Oh and Neighbours! i LOVE Neighbours!
• I'm Listening To
• arcade fire, I'm into quite a few different types of music. In terms of people that are on MTV at the mo, I like The Fratellis (my Scottish folk!), Sons & Daughters, Beta Band, and Lily Allen (she makes me laugh!). I love rocksteady, reggae and doo-wop.
