Usher has dropped his manager of ten years- and whats worse is its his own mum!

Jonetta Patton bossed her son since the start of his career in 1994 but now hes cut her loose.

Usher said: "It means I now get to have my mother strictly as my mother with no added pressure."

The R&B lothario is currently working on the follow-up to his 2004 disc Confessions.

Theres no word yet on whether Jonetta will still cook Ushers dinner or wash his clothes...
