New Acts at V!

New acts confirmed include Jarvis Cocker, Dizzee Rascal and Ocean Colour Scene

The 12th Annual V Festival is looking set to be one of the best yet, Jarvis Cocker, Dizzee Rascal, Ocean Colour Scene, The Cribs and Beverley Knight having just confirmed.

It was allegedly Jarvis Cocker's idea, back in 1995, to have a festival that played to the north and the sound in the same weekend. Now, the V Fest welcomes him back after success with a new solo album.

The event which rocks Hylands Park, Chelmsford and Weston Park, Staffs, over the weekend of 18-19 August will eventually boast more than 80 acts including headliners The Killers, The Foo Fighters and Snow Patrol alongside Kasabian, Pink, The Fratellis, Paolo Nutini and Amy Winehouse.

When they're put alongside Dizzee Rascal and Beverley Knight the event really does live up to its billing as containing "something for everyone."

And if the mild winter was anything to go by, 2007 could be shaping up to be one of the best festival years in history!
