P!nk Literally Flies Into V Festival 2017 For Hit-Packed Set

The 'So What' pop-punk superstar zorbed, flew and blew us away in Chelmsford last night...

If there's one way to make an entrance, plunging 100 feet to the stage from an overhead CRANE is the way to do it. That's how P!nk got the party started last night for her V Festival headline set at Chelmsford's Hylands Park.

Cranking out 'Get The Party Started', 'U + Ur Hand', and 'Just Like A Pill' in the first 10 mins, the singer set the tone for a night to remember, performing in front of her giant voodoo doll backdrop.

Judging by the crowd reaction, her brand new single 'What About Us' is already in an instant crowd-pleaser, sitting comfortably between 'Trouble' and 'Try'.

P!nk took an acoustic timeout to pay homage to Janis Joplin with a renditionof 'Bobby McGee' before rocking out to theLed Zeppelin classic 'Babe I'm Gonna Leave You'.....in a ZORB ACROSS THE CROWD!

If you thought that was fearless, the thousands were treated to P!nk's infamous acrobatics; twirling, somersaulting and even stopping for a few mid-air press-upsover the masses for her'So What' finale.

EPIC.

Elsewhere across the day, Ella Eyre dazzled on the main stage, Craig David brought the metaphorical roof down with a live band/TS5 hybrid show and Jess Glynne smashed through her chart-topping catalogue of hits.

Over on the MTV Stage, Rudimental saw the day to a close with a rapturous set including a cameo from James Arthur for their smash current hit 'Sun Comes Up', while earlier Sean Paul, Sigma, Anne-Marie and more had the time of their lives.

...and that was just Saturday - roll on tonight for Hovaaaaaaaaa.

'Our V Festival 2017 live highlights continue tonight from 9pm on MTV, MTV Music and MTV Live HD!'
