Vanessa Hudgens put on quite the performance for Grease: Live last night, despite having lost her father to cancer just hours before.

Taking to Twitter on Sunday morning, the actress told fans that despite the devastating news of her dad's death, she'd still be putting on her Rizzo wig.

And perform in his honour she did, being all that Twitter can talk about after the show aired with her incredible performance.

The special also paid tribute in memory of her father as behind the scenes clips aired, with Fox adding: "In loving memory of Greg Hudgens. June 22, 1950 – January 30, 2016."
