Vanessa Hudgens Has Officially Had Her Say On High School Musical 4
Is this the start of something new?
When it was first announced that there was a new High School Musical film on the way, we were obviously crazy excited about it.
But after we found out that HSM 4 would be all about new students and not the OG Troy Bolton crew, we weren’t too sure – and now Vanessa Hudgens has had her say on the whole thing.
Despite the fact that ten whole years have passed since Gabriella Montez first moved to East High School, it’s safe to say Vanessa still has nothing but love for the insanely popular franchise.
Talking about the upcoming reboot with ET, she revealed: “I love musicals.
“Being able to do musicals is such a dream of mine and the fact that they're keeping it alive and bringing it to a new generation is really wonderful."
And it doesn’t stop there, because the HSM alumni still accidentally references the film’s lyrics pretty often.
She added: "Sometimes, someone will be like, 'We're all in this together,' and then I'll be like [starts singing], 'We're all in this together!'… It's like reflexes."
Proving that she’ll never forget her roots, Vanessa even admitted to pulling out Breaking Free during a karaoke trip with her new co-stars from the TV show Powerless.
We don’t blame her in the slightest.
