Vanessa Hudgens Wants To Bring High School Musical To Her New Show 'Powerless'

High School Musical may be nothing but a distant memory now, but that doesn't mean Vanessa Hudgens is done with singing entirely.

Just over a year since her incredible performance on Grease Live!, Vanessa has admitted she's trying to keep that musical love alive on her new show Powerless.

"Musical things happen [on set] sometimes," the actress explained to Rotten Tomatoes about filming the show.

While when asked about having a musical episode, she said: "I'm singing all the time so maybe we'll give [the producers] a hint." 

But she's not the only one toying with the idea, as the show's writer and exec producer Patrick Schumacker seems to agree: "Every day on set is a musical episode with Vanessa.

"Knock on wood — if we get a second season, I think that [a musical episode] would be in order."
