Vicky Pattison Explains Why She Doesn't Keep In Touch With Her Geordie Shore Castmates
It's been a long time since the OG gang were in contact.
Vicky Pattison has revealed that she doesn’t have a particularly close bond to her former castmates on Geordie Shore and has opened up about the state of their friendship four years after leaving the series back in 2014.
In an interview with Syndey's Sunday Telegraph, the 30-year-old pointed out that keeping in touch with all the OG radgies has been a difficult task in recent years and compared the situation to leaving an office job.
Let's get checking out Sophie, Olivia and Lateysha talking sex for That’s What She Said...
“It's like when you leave any job, when you leave an office you don't keep in touch with Barry from accounts,” she explained.
Admitting that not everyone she’s met along her career has become a “lifelong friend”, Viks added that she and the rest of the original cast aren’t quite the BFFs we all imagine them to be.
“The fact is when you go to your new job you realise Barry from accounts was just your colleague, he wasn't that lifelong friend that you thought he would be. We just don't keep in touch as much as we should probably.”
This comes after Vicky opened about the fact that her castmates hadn’t made the cut for her now-delayed wedding to fiancé John Noble.
At the time, she told OK! Magazine that trimming down her guestlist to a neat size meant that her Geordie pals had missed out on an invitation: "I don't really see any of them any more and your wedding day is about the people you're closest to."
It sounds like Vicky still wishes all the best for her Geordie castmates, and we have our fingers crossed they’ll pencil in a long overdue reunion when she jets back from South Africa.
