Vicky Pattison Reveals Secret Therapy Sessions After Winning I’m A Celebrity
The Gerodie Shore fave struggled to cope with her new-found fame.
In 2015 Vicky Pattison became the Queen of the jungle and therefore the Queen the nation’s hearts after deservedly winning I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here.
Since taking the crown, it’s hard to not see our Vicks, may she be on our TV screens, in magazines or in super sultry lingerie ads - not that we’re complaining.
However, this new found heightened fame took its toll on the Geordie lass, who has now admitted that she was forced to seek therapy to cope, consulting celebrity therapists Nik and Eva Speakman.
She explained: “They helped with the transition between being unknown and post-jungle.
“It was a very meteoric rise and I’m not sure anyone’s ready for it. I wasn’t. I had to get some help on how to deal with it properly because I wasn’t dealing with it well.”
Vicks also reached out to fellow winner Scarlett Moffat to make sure she was OK with her new-found fame.
“I caught up with Scarlett a couple of times,” she said.
“She told me she moved down, and I said to her, ‘Listen babe, If you’re ever lonely, or you don’t know anyone, give us a shout.’ I’m always there for a Geordie in need.
“But she’s been so busy, she’s having the year I had last year – there’s not a lot of time for socialising.”
