Vicky Pattison's Grandparents Reveal The Date She'll Get Married
It's about to get seriously sentimental up in here.
Vicky Pattison's grandparents have come forward to comment on her recent engagement and they've given away a precious bit of information about when the wedding is likely to take place.
In an interview with Chronicle Live, the couple - who are celebrating their 65th wedding anniversary this year - revealed that Viks wants to get married on the same date they tied the knot back in 1952.
That would place the wedding of John Noble and Vicky at some point July 2018, with her grandma saying that she thinks it's "lovely" that Viks wants to honour their marriage during her special day.
“I can’t believe we’ve been married for 65 years already,” Mavis, who has four granddaughters and two great-granddaughters, said. "We’re also so excited for Vicky’s wedding. It’s just lovely.”
Sharing her secrets to having a happy marriage, Mavis said: "It’s about give and take. There’s never been a boss between us. We always tend to agree on everything but if we don’t, we talk through it.
“I don’t believe anyone who has been married for 65 years who says they’ve never had a row. I say they’re either a liar or not normal. My advice to Vicky would be not to squabble over the little silly things. Life is just too short.”
Happy Anniversary Mr and Mrs Birdsey, and let the countdown commence for Vicky's vows.
