Victoria Beckham and Skype have announced plans for a new fashion documentary.

The doc will give fashion fans a unique look at VB in action, and the former Spice Girls star will reveal the creative process behind her clothes, giving "intimate access" to her studio using the video chat service.

Users will have the opportunity to directly interact with Beckham and her team via Skype, when the project launches this autumn.

The company explained in a statement: "We’re pleased to announce, that for the first time, fashion designer, entrepreneur and style icon Victoria Beckham is set to tell the story of her remarkable journey through a collaboration with Skype.

"In just five short years, Victoria Beckham and her team have built a hugely successful international fashion brand. A journey which Skype is proud to have played a part in enabling.

"Stay tuned on Skype.com for the official launch later this fall. The partnership between the two brands will allow intimate access into the previously unseen world of Victoria Beckham’s story.

"Skype will bring the story of a driven designer and businesswoman to life in a groundbreaking storytelling format, as well as offer inspiration to fashion enthusiasts, aspiring creatives and entrepreneurs.

"The collaboration will give you, the audience, opportunities to engage directly with Victoria and her team via Skype.
