Vin Diesel Is Working On A “Monster Track” With Steve Aoki
Steve Aoki: “What Vin brought to the table, I’ve never experienced before."
Professional submarine-evader and Corona-drinker Vin Diesel could be more likely to win a GRAMMY before he wins an Oscar. (His words.) Why? Because, according to the Los Angeles Times, Vin Diesel is working on a “monster track” with full-time cake-thrower Steve Aoki.
Reporter Jen Yamato was alongside Vin Diesel during the days leading up to the release of The Fate of the Furious, when Diesel Facetimed Aoki to talk about the track.
“What Vin brought to the table, I’ve never experienced before. I think it’s going to blow people’s minds,” Aoki said. Yamato wrote that Vin Diesel was beaming when he heard those words. (Aww.)

Will the track be a hit? Vin Diesel and his partner certainly think so. According to the paper, "when the Fast & Furious megastar played the track for his girlfriend -- and mother of his three children -- Paloma Jimenez the next day, it brought Diesel to tears."
As strange as a Vin Diesel x Steve Aoki collaboration may sound, Diesel is no stranger to the music world. His emotional performance of Rihanna’s ‘Stay’ and of ‘See You Again’ at the MTV Movie Awards, both went viral a few years ago. Vin even added his vocals to Kygo and Selena Gomez’s ‘It Ain’t Me’.
Sing, drive cars between skyscrapers, go toe-to-toe against The Rock – Vin Diesel is unstoppable.
Vin Diesel won’t, of course, be the first actor to experiment with new mediums. Michael Cera, Keanu Reaves, Scarlett Johanssen and much more have given it a go, too.
In other news, Vin Diesel shared a touching tribute to Paul Walker. Find out more here.
