It seems like only minutes ago since we were witnessing Kanye throw a hissy fit and Avid Merrion send up Madonna in a fetching leoatatard, but this year's MTV Europe Music Awards is upon us again.

And we can reveal this year's bash will take place on November 1 in Munich at the city's OlympiaHalle.

No acts or presenters have yet been confirmed but going by last year's bill, which included the likes of Justin Timberlake, P Diddy, The Killers and Nelly Furtado, it's bound to be hot.

Munich's lord mayor, Christian Ude, said, "Munich will be an enthusiastic host to the MTV Europe Music Awards 2007. This event offers the city a tremendous opportunity to share its youthful vigour and vibrancy with the world."

2007 marks fourteen years of MTV EMAs.

Last year, the show was broadcast to a potential worldwide audience of more than 1.4 billion people in 179 countries including a live broadcast across Europe, Africa and the Middle East.
