Eminem & Iggy Azalea have also received seven nominations! Find out who will be battling it out for a Moonman statue here...

Beyoncé has scored the most nominations at the 2014 MTV VMAs, picking up eight nods.

Queen B - who surprised and delighted fans worldwide with the revolutionary release of her self-titled visual album earlier this year - has picked up nods includingVideo of the Year, Best Female and Best Choreography.

On the list announced today (July 17) via SnapChat, VMA veteran Eminem and newbie Iggy Azalea were just behind Queen B, with seven nods each.

Also receiving multiple nominations were Jay-Z, Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus, Pharrell Williams, Ariana Grande, Lorde, Sam Smith, Zedd, Avicii, Pitbull, Jason Derulo and Hayley Williams.

Marshall’s nominations include: Best Hip-Hop (Berzerk) and two for The Monster with Rihanna (Best Male and Best Collaboration), while Iggy makes her VMA splash thanks to her mega-hit Fancy - which will vie for Video of the Year, Best Female and Best Pop.

Depending on what kind of nights they have, both Bey (12 total career wins) and Em (11 career wins) could easily make a run for second place on the all-time list of VMA wins, sliding by Peter Gabriel and Lady Gaga (13) on the way to Madonna mountain (20 career wins).

Pharrell will be the lone male voice in the Video of the Year category, where his Happy clip will take on songs by Iggy, Beyoncé, Sia and Cyrus.

Beginning today (July 17), fans can vote in VMA categories, including Video of the Year, Artist to Watch and more by visiting vma.mtv.com, where nominees for a new socially voted category, Best Lyric Video, will be announced at a later date.[related]The 2014 MTV Video Music Awards will touch down at the Forum in Inglewood, California, for the first time on August 24, with a show slate to include performances from Usher, Arian Grande and 5 Seconds of Summer, with more artists to be announced later.
