Chelsea Handler To Host VMAs
The chatshow host will be in charge next month…
Chelsea Handler has been confirmed as the host of this year’s MTV VMAs show on September 12.
The comic announced the news on her own Chelsea Lately chatshow last night in the US.
She told her loyal viewers: “Everyone knows that when you think of rap music and hip-hop you think of Chelsea Lately. And that's why I will be hosting.”
Handler has become famous for cutting down reality stars and celebs in her acerbic interviews. She follows Russell Brand- who hosted in 2008 and 2009- into the VMAs hotseat.
Confirmed to perform on the night so far are Kanye West, Justin Bieber, B.o.B, Florence and the Machine and Drake. Lady GaGa leads the nominations.
