Christina Aguilera and JLo are among the new additions to the 2004 MTV Video Music Awards in Miami.
Christina joins the list of performers at the ceremony, as do Nelly and Alicia Keys. Previously announced performers include Usher, Jet, Kanye West and Jessica Simpson.
Meanwhile, new additions in way of the list of stars handing out awards at the ceremony are Jennifer Lopez, Will Smith, Gwyneth Paltrow and Hilary Duff. Previously announced gong disher-outers include Lenny Kravitz, P Diddy, Paris Hilton and LL Cool J.
Jay-Z leads the nominees pack this year with 6 nods for his '99 Problems' video.
The 2004 MTV Video Music Awards can be seen on MTV on August 30 at 9pm.
