Nominations have just been unveiled for this year's MTV Video Music Awards, and it's Jay-Z in poll position.
The rap superstar's '99 Problems' video is up for a massive six nominations.
Hot on Jay's heels are OutKast and No Doubt, who both carry five nominations, followed by Beyonce, who goes into this year's Awards with four nods for 'Naughty Girl'.
Leading the charge for UK music are The Darkness, who will battle it out in the Best Rock Video and Best New Artist categories and Franz Ferdinand, who find themselves up for the MTV2 Award and Breakthrough Video for 'Take Me Out'.
The 2004 MTV Video Music Awards will be held in Miami on August 29, with performances from the likes of Usher, Kanye West and Jessica Simpson.
