Jessie J will be opening the 2014 MTV VMAs on Sunday (August 24)with a first-time performance of her hit single Bang Bang, alongside Nicki Minaj and Ariana Grande.

The powerhouse trio will get the night off to a flying start as they join the likes of Usher, Beyoncé, Taylor Swift, Iggy Azalea and 5 Seconds Of Summer on the star-studded line-up.

Speaking of her forthcoming performance, Jessie said:“When I was the VMA House Artist in 2011 I had a broken foot and I sat on the side stage dreaming about being on that main stage.

“So when I say that this performance is a dream come true for me, I truly mean it. And to be able to share this moment with superstars like Ariana & Nicki, it’s going to be such an amazing night."

Immediately following the performance of Bang Bangon the VMA stage, the music video will premiere worldwide onMTV.

As well as Jessie's performance, Gwen Stefani and Kim Kardashian have both been confirmed as presenters for the awards, joining Demi Lovato, Lorde,Taylor Schilling and a host of others who will all be presenting moonmen.
