Justin Timberlake has been confirmed to perform at this year's MTV Video Music Awards, which take place in Brooklyn, New York on August 25.
As well as treating audiences to what is sure to be a spectacular live performance, JT will also be receiving the coverted Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award, in recognition of two decades of pop perfection.
As both a solo artist and as a member of *NSYNC, Justin has so far won an 14 VMAs in total - including Male Artist Of The Year and Quadruple Threat Of The Year in 2007 and Best Pop Video for Cry Me A River in 2003 - putting him second only to Madonna for most overall wins.
2013 sees Timberlake tie with with Macklemore & Ryan Lewis for most VMA nominations with six apiece, with JT receiving nods for Video Of The Year, Best Male Video, Best Pop Video and Best Editing for Mirrors, while Suit & Tie is nominated for Best Collaboration (with Jay-Z) and Best Direction.
Justin joins previously announced performers Miley Cyrus, Robin Thicke, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga and Kanye West, along with One Direction who will presenting a Moonman on the night.
The 2013 MTV Video Awards will be shown on MTV from 8pm on Monday August 26.
