Kanye Confirmed For VMAs

Today he hit Twitter to announce (with lots of exclamation marks): “Just met with MTV and it's about to go down! VMA's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

 

Last year he jumped on stage uninvited and told Taylor Swift she didn’t deserve to win her Best Female Video gong because Beyoncé did.

 

But now on September 12 in Los Angeles we can confirm he’ll be back at the massive ceremony and performing live for the huge audience.

 

In a radio interview earlier this week West said the criticism he received after his stage invasion has helped him.

 

“I needed that," the rapper said. "I have to have humility. I had truth and confidence, but I had to add humility and empathy. I added those after I got beat up.”

 

Kanye’s “I’mma let you finish” speech caused President Obama to call him a ‘jack ass’ and was then spoofed hundreds of times online.

 

In his song See Now released this week he joked: “I’mma let you finish but I got Beyoncé on this song."

 

Drake has also been confirmed for the VMAs, while Nicki Minaj, Emma Stone, Penn Badgley, Trey Songz, Selena Gomez and Ne-Yo have all been confirmed to present Moonmen awards at the show.
