The rapper, singer, global icon and all round Queen has been revealed (via sonogram) as the final performer to be gracing the stage on Sunday (August 30), and we're already counting down the minutes.

Fresh from her global, sold-out The Pinkprint Tour, Nicki is making a triumphant return to the VMA stage that is practically her second home, having performed last year with Jessie J and Ariana Grande.

With Justin Bieber, The Weeknd, Pharrell Williams, Demi Lovato, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Tori Kelly, A$AP Rocky and Twenty One Pilots also hitting the stage on the night, well, you're in for a treat.

Oh and not to mention Miley Cyrus who is playing host for the evening, as she helps dish out those Jeremy Scott designed MTV Moonmen.
