Shakira and Ludacris will perform at the MTV Video Music Awards 2005.
The Colombian beauty and rap heavyweight join the likes of Mariah Carey, Green Day, The Killers and Kelly Clarkson on ther perfromers line-up.
Shakira is nominated this year in the Best Female and Best Dance Video categories for 'La Tortura', while Ludacris is nominated in the Best Rap and Best Special Effects in a Video categories for 'Number One Spot'.
Also confirmed to appear at this year's VMAs, taking place in Miami and hosted by P Diddy, are Usher, Jessica Alba, Orlando Bloom, Kirsten Dunst, Lindsay Lohan, Joss Stone and Snoop Dogg.
