Shawn Mendes Makes It Rain At The MTV VMAs 2018

Shawn Mendes kicked off the MTV VMAs 2018 in the sexiest style we could imagine… by getting everyone all wet. Yep, like a 90s R’n’B superstar, Shawn made it rain indoors during his performance of 'In My Blood'.

After being introduced by new mama Cardi B (and her baby Moon Person), Shawn took to the stage in a white tank top, quickly taking part in his own wet T-shirt competition.

The rousing performance went down a storm with everyone at New York’s Radio City Music Hall, except for Nicki Minaj, who looked surprisingly bored when the camera panned to her. Oops. Hopefully the rest of the show is more up Nicki’s street – we’re sure she’ll be on her feet for gal pal Ariana Grande’s turn on the stage.
