Whitney Houston 911 Call Details Revealed
TMZ has obtained an emergency call over the singer's death...
A call from security staff at the Beverly Hills Hilton to the emergency services on the night of Whitney Houston's death has been obtained by a US gossip site.
TMZ has published a transcript of the recording, which hears the staff member tell the emergency operator about a "46-year-old female found in the bathroom".
And the staff member also reveals that the hotel had been informed about the discovery of Whitney's body by an unknown woman, saying: "Apparently she wasn't breathing and she's 46 years old. The person who called me was irate and I couldn't get much out of her."
Whitney was pronounced dead at the scene when paramedics arrived on February 11 this year, the night before the Grammy Awards.
A subsequent inquest found that the 48-year-old (they got her age wrong in the phone call) had accidentally drowned, with cocaine use as a contributing factor.
Police have now closed their investigation into the death, declaring that foul play is not suspected.
