Whitney Houston's funeral will take place this Saturday (18th February) at noon, with the service being held at the church where she first showcased her incredible talent.
TheDionne Warwick, with the funeral home stating that there will be no wake.
They also added that despite the reports, there will be no public memorial at Newark's 18,500 seater Prudential Centre.
The funeral service is expected to be invitation only, with Carolyn Whigham stating that Whitney's family want to keep the memorial more personal.
She said: "They have shared her for 30 some years with the city, with the state, with the world. This is their time now for their farewell. The family thanks all the fans, the friends and the media, but this time is their private time,"
Houston was found dead in her room at the Beverly Hilton Hotel last Saturday (11th February). She was 48-years old.
