The first trailer has dropped online for comedy sequel Daddy’s Home 2, in which Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg have to face two rivals even worse than each other… their own dads.

The new movie picks up where the last one left off, with warring dads Ferrell and Wahlberg having patched things up for the sake of their kids. All’s going well until a family Christmas appears on the horizon, and Wahlberg’s grizzled old man shows up, looking very much like Mel Gibson. Factor in John Lithgow as Ferrell’s uber-cuddly pop, and Christmas is suddenly looking awkward AF.

Boooooo! We wanted to hear the joke about the two dead hookers! TBH, we were surprised to hear that Daddy’s Home had done well enough to get a sequel, but with Lithgow and Gibson on board, consider us sold.

Directed by Sean Anders and co-starring Linda Cardellini and John Cena, Daddy’s Home 2 will open in the UK on 22 November 2017.
