We May Never Know What Caused The Viola Beach Crash

Back in February, Viola Beach a four-person band from Warrington, crashed into a raised section of a bridge and plummeted into a canal following a gig in Sweden. It was a truly terrible tragedy.

An inquest found that no alcohol or drugs was found in the blood of the driver, Mr Tarry, and so questions have been as to why the band’s vehicle crashed.

Cheshire Coroner Nicholas Rheinberg recently said: "It's not for me to speculate... I don't think it ever will be known what happened." He added that "the evidence did not reveal the cause of sequence of events" that led to their deaths.

According to the BBC, Mr Rheinberg also said there were "frustrating missing gaps" and that he was not able to demand information from Swedish authorities as he could from British organisations.

The Maccabees Announce Farewell Gigs

Despite headlining Latitude in the summer, one of their biggest shows to date, The Maccabees called it quits as a band. It was a real shock.

As promised, the group will be heading out on a series of Farewell gigs. These huge shows will be taking place next summer, and they’re going to be emotional.

Will Smith and Keira Knightley star in OneRepublic's new vid

Following their latest album, The Top 10-scoring Oh My My, OneRepublic have now released a video for ‘Let’s Hurt Tonight’.

It’s taken from the upcoming Will Smith film Collateral Beauty, and features the actor alongside Keira Knightley, Kate Winslet and more.
