Will.I.Am Claims First Solo UK No 1 Single

Will.I.Am has landed his first solo No 1 with Maroon 5 into the No 2 spot with Chris Brown's Flo Rida's Cheryl Cole's latest single Linkin Park scored their third UK No 1 album with Living Things - just beating Maroon 5 and their new album Overexposed into second place.

Ed Sheeran's + climbed four places to No 3 while teen popster Justin Bieber fell three places to fourth spot.

Emeli Sandé's Our Version Of Events, now in its 20th week in the chart, dropped one place to No 5.
