DJ Fresh: "Rita Ora Is Like My Baby Sister"
DJ Fresh says that he feels "really proud" of Rita Ora's rise to fame and that he always knew she was going to be a star.
Speaking to MTV News UK at the Yahoo! Wireless Festival today (July 13), the Gold Dust singer also revealed he thinks of the R.I.P songstress as "a bit like my baby sister" because of the journey they've been on together.
Fresh stated: "Whenever I see her on TV and see her doing well it just feels really good," adding: " I guess back then nobody knew who she was and I thought she was going to be a star, everyone around her did, it was kind of obvious."
Talking about Hot Right Now - which the pair collaborated on together - he said: "She just needed the right record and it's such a great feeling of achievement to have been the person to have done that with her."
Fresh also revealed he's got a single coming out next year which features MTV Brand New 2013 pick Little Nikki.
He claimed: "I don't want to say she's the next Rita Ora, but she's really great.
"They're big shoes to fill. I can't really see anybody filling those shoes for a while to be honest, but for me Little Nikki out of all the singers I've worked with recently has definitely got that star thing going on."
Fresh also said he would be up for working with Jessie J who he thinks has an "amazing voice" and sounds a bit like Katy Perry!
