Frank Ocean Charms Crowd At Yahoo! Wireless Festival

REVIEW: Thousands flocked to see Frank play the Pepsi Max tent...

Two-time Frank Ocean took over the Pepsi Max Stage with dedicated fans spilling outside of the tent just to get a glimpse at this R&B superstar. His composed performance along with the continual video display of a yellow car driving through the desert all played a part in marking a fantastic first day of the Yahoo! Wireless Festival.

Feeling: Completely chilled, Frank had tremendous stage presence without abrupt movements, he stood still with his eyes down making us feel like every word he sang came from the bottom of his heart. The mixed audience loved it and sang along with him while the sun was setting over the London Olympic Park.
The Look: Mr. Ocean sported his trademark red and white bandana along with a white T-shirt and patterned trousers. The live band were very much placed on stage to enhance this man's talent so there were no leather vest top or spiky pants present at this performance.
Tunes: Frank kicked off with California Live and each drum beat was mimicked by the stage lights which really got the crowd going. During his performance of Sierra Leone, the live band played homage to Ocean's love for experimental Jazz. His rendition of Pyramids rushed through the crowd and got everybody dancing to its addictive beat.
Banter: He seemed so shy and when he did talk to the audience, it was hard to hear. At one point, Frank did look up at the crowd and feeling the love from his fans, his face lit up with a smile, saying that his audience were "beautiful"

Sweat Factor: The tent was jammed with dedicated fans who would come out for air gasping for some cool summer breeze, however surrounding the tent were fans chilling out and laying on the grass simply enjoying the music. It was blissful.

Summary: Simply amazing. The 25-year old has a great amount of talent and we were overjoyed by the fact that the Pepsi Max tent was packed with an audience singing his songs word-for-word. It was a clear indication that this man needs to be on the main stage next year.
