Game Of Thrones Director ‘Top Choice’ For Wonder Woman Movie

Game of Thrones and Walking Dead director Michelle MacLaren is first in line to helm a Wonder Woman spin-off movie, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Warner Bros. has reportedly met with MacLaren several times and studio insiders say she is the favourite to direct a Wonder Woman spin-off movie featuring Gal Gadot.

Jennifer Kent (The Babadook) and Lesli Linka Glatter (Homeland) are also reported to have met with the studio, although not specifically for Wonder Woman.

If MacLaren comes on board she will be the first female director in the comic book movies' recent history.

The studio has not commented on the report as yet.
