Michelle MacLaren has stepped down as director of forthcoming flick Wonder Woman.
"Given creative differences, Warner Bros. and Michelle MacLaren have decided not to move forward with plans to develop and direct Wonder Woman together," Warner Bros. said in a statement.
This was to be MacLaren's feature directorial debut, having previously worked on Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad and The Walking Dead.
Her hiring back in November ended months of searching on Warner's part, who were keen for a female director to take the reigns of the project.
Gal Gadot has already been cast as Wonder Woman, with the film slated for a June 23, 2017 release.
