Wonder Woman Villain Revealed In New Trailer

Friday treat alert! A shiny new trailer has dropped online for Wonder Woman, featuring Gal Gadot’s lasso-cracking heroine kicking some ass, and what looks like a first glimpse of arch-villain Ares.

We’re talking about David Thewlis, who makes a brief appearance here following recent reports that he would be playing the God of War. Is he undercover here? Check out the new trailer below, and make up your own mind…

Batman might be more ruthless, and Superman more powerful, but we’re pretty sure that Wonder Woman is going to become DC’s most badass cape-wearer! Nice little Justice League teaser at the end there too, with the tagline, “the future of justice begins with her”.

Directed by Patty Jenkins and co-starring Chris Pine, Robin Wright and Connie Nielsen, Wonder Woman will open in the UK on 1 June 2017.
