Duncan Jones 'To Direct World Of Warcraft Movie'

The British director, responsible for Jake Gyllenhaal thriller Source Code, is claimed by The Hollywood Reporter to have been secured by Legendary Pictures to helm Warcraft.

And the budget for the big-screen adaptation of the wildly popular fantasy/sci-fi RPG is claimed to be in excess of £63m - roughly triple the money spent on Jones' last movie, and 100 times that of Moon.

Production is expected to begin this March, with a target of 2015 for the release. No cast details have yet been revealed.

Jones is the son of pop icon David Bowie.
