Brad Pitthas revealed that he's been in talks about a possible World War Z sequel.
The film became the actor’s highest grossing movie ever raking in a total of $500 million dollars (£323 million) worldwide.
The A-Lister told Variety that he would be interested in a follow up to the end-of-world zombie flick and that the production team still had ideas from the first movie.
Pitt explained: "We have so many ideas on the table from just the time we spent developing this thing and figuring out how zombie worlds work.
"We're certainly talking about it, yeah."
The star went on to admit that any sequel would of course depend on the script: "We gotta get the script right first to determine if we go further.
"We have so many ideas and so much information, we think we have a lot of stuff to mine from. We're going to do our best and see what we get out of it.”
Mireille Enos, who co-starred in the film and plays Brad’s on-screen wife also expressed interest in a follow up to the 2013 blockbuster, stating: "We'll wait and see how the script turns out, but yes, I'd love to come back."
The film follows the story of Gerry Lane, a former United Nations investigator, who becomes embroiled in a fight to save the world against a deadline breed of zombies.
World War Z was originally intended as a trilogy but unscheduled re-shoots meant that the idea was scrapped.
