An Indian Factory Is Being Bombarded With Sanitary Towels

In an undeniable case of bodily violation, 45 employees of a factory in Kochi were strip-searched after a used sanitary towel was left in the bathroom.

The protest, dubbed "Red Alert: You’ve Got a Napkin!” was started after every woman under the age of 50 was subjected to an invasive strip search by female supervisors. Objectors are being urged to send the factory, called Asma Rubber Private Limited, used or unused sanitary towels.

Urging people to “Protest against this inhuman act!”, organisers have posted a riling message in both English and Malayalam on Facebook, including the address of the Factory.
