Some part of our degraded society has dictated that the Discovery Channel put on a special programme entitled ‘Eaten Alive’, which ended in fairly spectacular fashion.

Paul Rosolie, nature conservationist and probable lunatic, wore a protective suit and covered himself in pig’s blood to try and convince mama-conda that he was her next meal. After she seemed uninterested, he went on to provoke her into defending herself.

Telling Entertainment Weekly that he could feel “the suit cracking” and his “arms ripping out of their sockets, Rosolie lasted approximately 2 minutes of squashing before he called in a rescue team who appear to lift the snake off him.

In addition to the exclusive(ly terrifying) footage of the inside of the snake's mouth, some hilarious sound engineer has soundtracked the whole ordeal with backing music from a horror film, making the entire video the most uncomfortable viewing you’re going to have all day. Enjoy.
