Triple H hopes WWE’s developmental branch NXT will embark upon a touring schedule by the end of 2015.
WWE’s Executive VP also promised the company was also working “feverishly” to ensure UK fans would be able to watch the likes of NXT R: Evolution on the WWE Network.
“From the brand standpoint of NXT, my goal is to continue making this its own living, breathing brand,” he said during a conference call.
“My goal in the next year is to have this brand touring. Right now the majority of our touring is in the Florida area, central Florida especially. My goal is to get outside, to start in south-east and expand from there. That’s a lot of work in progress.”
He continued: “That’s the process now for me, to get as many eyeballs as possible on these guys to build their experience, with the end goal of getting them to Raw, getting them to Smackdown.”
Suggesting that NXT champ – and Geordie – Adrian Neville and his number one contender Sami Zayn could appear on the main roster within a matter of months, Triple H said he anticipated their NXT R: Evolution clash would be “epic”.
“They have great chemistry in the ring and are two guys who are so ready to take it to the next level and so ready to make their impact on the WWE in general,” he said.
“If you are in the UK and unfortunately the Network is not there yet which we are feverishly working on, you can check it out on Sky Sports 3, Saturday night at 11pm,” Triple H added.
