Apollo Crews NXT Debut: Former Uhaa Nation Star Set To Make WWE Bow At NXT Brooklyn
The artist formerly known as Uhaa Nation will make his debut on NXT programming in Brooklyn later this month.
The 27-year-old athletic standout - who was wowed audiences with his powerful, explosive and dynamic in-ring skills on the independent scene for six years - will take on the name of Apollo Crews.
In an introduction to WWE Network viewers last night, Crews made it clear performing on wrestling's biggest stage has always been his aim - and he intends to take home the gold.
Directly addressing the locker room of developmental talents already plying their trade in NXT, he calmly insisted he would not be "stopping for anyone".
He said: "The day I got into wrestling, I knew this is what I wanted to be.
"I wasn’t going to stop until I got here."
California-born Crews - real name Seusgh Uhaa - continued: "I came here to be champion, I came here to be the best.
"Once I finally debut, expect greatness."
An opponent has not yet been named for Crews at NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn, which goes down in the Barclays Center the night before SummerSlam. The show will be headlined by NXT champ Finn Balor defending against former titleholder Kevin Owens.
