CM Punk Removed From Main WWE Roster
Superstar grappler moved to 'Alumni' section of website...
The internet has been buzzing with gossip that CM Punk's days as one of the main players in the WWE ring might have come to an end.
The 35-year-old star vocally walked out on the company earlier this year - seemingly upset at being overlooked for big shows in favour of "part-time" wrestlers.
However as with all the best WWE stories, fans were unsure whether his strop was merely part of a storyline which would lead to a dramatic return.
That now looks unlikely though - because he's had his profile moved to the "Alumni" area on the WWE's official site - and because his contract officially expires tomorrow.
And he appeared to confirm that he is bowing out from the company in a tweet to fans - who had been thanking him for the entertainment he had provided over the years.
He wrote: "Nope, thank YOU.Thanks for all the help and support through the years. Health and happiness above all.Don't ever take any s**t from anybody."
