Does Awesome Finn Balor 'Inner Demon' Video Signal His WWE Breakthrough?
WWE have produced two new short films about NXT star Finn Balor - and they could be another hint that the Irish ace is set to become a player on sports entertainment's biggest stage.
Balor is scheduled to challenge NXT champ Kevin Owens on July 4 in Tokyo, Japan as the probable main event for a WWE Network special, but the captivating videos below suggest the promotional machine is taking it up a notch in highlighting the technical whiz's brilliance.
The first clip explores Balor's 'inner demon' character which informs his excellent entrances he employs for NXT TakeOver specials.
"We’re always at war with ourselves," Finn says in voiceover as his body seems to emit smoke and aspects of the demon flash up on screen.
"We hide behind these costumes, these facades.
"Is this who we really are? Or are we just trying to hide what we have become?"
As if developments with Balor's visibility weren't encouraging enough, the 33-year-old is also the subject of an ongoing profile piece on NXT programming.
With plenty of detail delving into his background, family history and time on the independent wrestling scene - including footage of appearances with British promotions - we can only hope WWE are prepping those fans not already familiar with Finn that someone special is on their way to the main roster...
