WWE: Kevin Owens APOLOGISES For Powerbomb Attack On Machine Gun Kelly
WWE rabbler-rouser Kevin Owens has tweeted an apology for attacking Raw guest Machine Gun Kelly - but only after it was revealed he faces a penalty for his actions from WWE higher ups.
NXT champ Owens looked to be congratulating the rapper following his live performance of 'A Little More' before it became apparent he was actually antagonising the star with a slow clap.
The 25-year-old musician was not in the mood to be shown up in his own Cleveland, Ohio back yard however, giving WWE's breakthrough bad guy a hefty shove.
Owens offered a boot to the gut in response before shockingly heaving up MGK and powerbombing him off the side of the entrance ramp.
And despite later saying backstage he "felt like it" as way of explanation for the assault, the Canadian drily offered the words on Twitter to form an apology at the very least after Stephanie McMahon told the live crowd there would be repercussions for the attack.
I’d like to apologize for my actions tonight. I got carried away.

Despite being helped out of the arena, it seems MGK recovered fairly quickly - come the early hours of this morning, he was back to freestyling with a relaxing drink and a roll up.
Rap beats can't be beat down, it seems. Could a tag team with R Truth be in the offing?
