Gargano, believed to under contract with Evolve's parent company WWN, and former ROH TV champ Ciampa - who was once part of WWE's developmental system - beat Bull Dempsey and Tyler Breeze in an unlikely match at the show, with fans speculating on social media that the bout may not be shown on the WWE Network.
It is believed Ciampa has recently worked for TNA at a television taping on a show that has yet to air.
Both wrestlers are listed on Global Force Wrestling's website as being members of the promotion's roster - although former Open the Freedom Gate champ Gargano did work a NXT dark match against Apollo Crews back in June.
However, neither man is listed for GFW's 'Amped' TV tapings in Las Vegas on August 21.
Birthday boy Gargano, 28, tweeted after the show:
Pretty cool early Birthday present.

Both men were on the bill at PWG's Threemendous IV last month, an event attended by WWE scout and onscreen General Manager for NXT William Regal.
However, they are not booked to take part in the on trend promotion's Best of Los Angeles tournament between August 28-30, despite both being featured in the 2013 and 2014 shows.
Ciampa, 30, is currently scheduled for a match under the St Louis Anarchy Wrestling banner on the same night NXT Takeover goes down in Brooklyn on August 23 - but what price either star appears in New York?
