Romans Reigns Admits Royal Rumble Disappointment As He Squares Up To Brock Lesnar....
Rumble match winner says he expected a 'warmer response' for WWE mega-victory - and he may get it from the champ...
Roman Reigns has revealed he was surprised at the reaction of some WWE fans to his Royal Rumble victory.
The 29-year-old, who bore the brunt of the boo boys in Philadelphia after Daniel Bryan was eliminated from the Wrestlemania championship qualifier, said on Raw last night his historic win wasn’t received in the manner he had imagined.
"As a little boy, picturing myself winning the Royal Rumble, going on to headline Wrestlemania... I was obviously hoping for a warmer response,” he said.
"Is life fair? No. I learnt that at a very early age."
Roman continued: "All those people in Philly paid their hard-earned money to come to that show and watch.
"The way I look at it, when you go into that arena you cheer or boo whoever you want.
"As long as I can show up and perform and do my thing, I'm happy.”
Reigns also had a face-to-face Raw encounter with champ Brock Lesnar, promising him he would claim the title at Wrestlemania.
