Seth Rollins' Curb Stomp 'Has NOT Been Banned By WWE'
Despite some internet reports, wrestling journalist claims champ's finisher will still be used - but less frequently...
Seth Rollins' finishing move, the Curb Stomp, has NOT been banned by WWE, it has been claimed.
Internet reports yesterday insisted the WWE World Heavyweight champion would no longer be using his established finisher in a proactive attempt to protect performers against head injuries.
However, Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer said last night the move had not been prohibited - but the DDT he used to defeat Dolph Ziggler in the show's main event would be his match winner going forward.
It is believed that the Curb Stomp will be utilised as a high impact maneouvre, similar to Randy Orton's punk kick.
Meltzer said on the Wrestling Observer Radio show: "The Curb Stomp is not banned, however that finisher Seth Rollins did tonight is going to be his new finisher. It is a semantic [change] in the sense that it inot banned but he's not going to use it any more. If you're going to ask me why, I have no idea."
