FINN-TASTIC! Irish WWE Star Calls On Demon To Knock Off Kevin Owens For NXT Title At #BeastInTheEast
Finn Balor called upon his Demon to double up on his finishing move and unleash two diving foot stomps from the top turnbuckle upon Kevin Owens to claim the NXT title in Japan this morning.

Irish star Finn, whose reputation as an athletic ace was forged and sealed during several years as a junior heavyweight standout for New Japan Pro Wrestling, was endorsed by Japanese wrestling veteram Tatsumi Fujinami after his show-stealing win.
And although dethroned Owens refused to accept Finn's sporting handshake, he could not take the shine off a superb clash that lived up to its billing as a homecoming of sorts for the challenger.
US champ John Cena, currently embroiled in his own rivalry with Owens, was among the stars backstage at the Sumo Hall in Tokyo to congratulate Finn on his victory, telling the new champ he'd had a "hell of a match".

Elsewhere, Brock Lesnar ploughed through Kofi Kingston in the Beast's first bout since Wrestlemania. Lesnar picked up the pin following two German suplexes and an F5 before flattening Kofi with another of his favourite suplexes. And then another F5.
Kofi's New Day mates Xavier Woods and Big E were similarly crushed with an F5 apiece when they tried to clear their partner up off the canvas.
And John Cena teamed with Dolph Ziggler to beat Kane and King Barrett in the show's final match of a unique and exciting presentation for the WWE Network, the first live broadcast outside of the States. US viewers will for the first time have experienced how UK fans watch WWE programming - whether it be pay-per-views or Raw - live as standard: in the middle of the night.
But with so many ways to watch any kind of programming, whether on TV, digital or cable whenever we like on demand, is there more potential for future live events in different time zones to be streamed on the WWE Network? Maybe even those held in the UK?
