Watch Your Small Change Around WWE's Mark Henry... Or He Could Snap It Between His Fingers
Best not to ask the World's Strongest Man to 'break' a note for you - he may take it literally...
WWE’s Big Show reckons his powerful pal Mark Henry is such a good chef he could open his own restaurant – but going by how he treats small change, the waiting staff better keep their hands on the ha’pennies.
During a local radio station interview to promote tonight’s Raw in Dallas, Texas, Big Show was asked about the strongest wrestler he had ever encountered.
While his answer was unsurprising, the tale he told about the World’s Strongest Man demonstrations of power were a little on the unpredictable side.
“Strongest? Without a doubt, Mark Henry,” he responded.
He continued: “Mark is my brother from another mother, I love him.
“He’s got one of the greatest smiles on the planet, loves food, can cook like nobody else – Mark Henry should open a restaurant.”
Shame the Happy Eater change is no more – Mark sounds like he’d be the perfect face of the former Little Chef roadside restaurant rival chain.
Back to the anecdote.
“He’s also freakishly strong,” continued Big Show – who at over 7 foot tall and 400 plus pounds, is probably no slouch when it comes to muscle himself.
“I come into the locker room one day and he’s hunched over sweating. I thought he was upset or crying.
“So I’m like: ‘Hey man – you ok? What’s going on?’
“He looks up: ‘Nah man, I’m trying to tear a quarter but all I can do is bend it.
“And I looked at him and he’s got a quarter that’s bent.
“And I went: ‘Yeah man, you keep working at that’. That’s Mark Henry for you.”
Lesson to learn: never ask Mark Henry to ‘break’ a fiver.
