WWE: Ric Flair Wants To See Ronda Rousey Take On His Daughter Charlotte
Ric Flair reckons Charlotte could take on Ronda Rousey... and would only need a few months of training to get into good enough shape to battle the UFC star.
The WWE ledge told WrestleZone Radio he'd love for his daughter - real name Ashley - to fight the MMA headliner, who is also a huge WWE fan and even had an unannounced cameo alongside The Rock at this year's Wrestlemania.
Flair said: "I hear the comparisons all the time and I’ll be the first to promote them.
"If Ashley had six months to train with someone that is really qualified to take her to that level…"
He continued: "It’s not a conditioning issue or a strength issue, she’s strong as a lion all day long.
"She’s about 15 or 20 pounds heavier and she’s strong. She can bench press 185 pounds. I don’t think Ronda can do that but Ronda has had years of conditioning and training."
Flair added: "I can tell you right now Ashley is not afraid of her.
"She would need training, obviously, to compete with someone like Ronda who has done so well and is such a big star.
"Ashley respects her so much. They’ve met and she just thinks Ronda is an awesome person.
As Ric's Four Hoursemen pal Arn Anderson used to warn: "Be careful what you wish for..."
